Knuckle Crane
The Knuckle Boom Type Crane of Cylinder Luffing Type, produced by OPCO, is a specialized crane designed with Knuckle Jib and Articulated Jib structures that can be operated extensively in small areas. This is the main equipment used for special vessels with small installation space such as PSV, AHTS, Drillship, or FPSO, with a maximum crane capability of 150 tons and a work range of minimum 2m to maximum 48m.
Recently, we developed and localized the LNG-FSRU marine plant Knuckle Boom Crane for the first time in Korea and supplied it to our customers. The crane is designed to be suitable for customer requirements and classification regulations with main platform and crane boom package design technology and it combines detailed element design technology with secured stability.
